2024 Labor Day Festival Giveaway Rules

How to Earn Entries

• Choctaw Nation tribal members who attend the Labor Day Festival may register for giveaways during entry dates:
  • 10:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2024
  • 10:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024
  • 12:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2024
• Submissions will be completed in person during the dates stated above via paper entry forms. Entries are valid for day of drawing only.
• Drawing will be held on August 30, 2024 before the Royalty Pageant; August 31, 2024 prior to the Headliner artist taking the stage and September 1, 2024 prior to the Headliner artist taking the stage.
• Chief or a designated person of Choctaw Nation will draw the winners. Tribal member services and security guard will be present to verify winner for each drawing.
• Prizes must be claimed within an hour of the drawing, or prize will be forfeited and rolled over to the next drawing time.
• Winners are limited to one person per drawing.
• Winners will receive a prize of $2,500.00.
• Each day, entries will be placed in a locked drawing drum until that day’s drawing occurs. Afterwards, remaining entries will be discarded.
• Winners will be contacted via announcement in the Amphitheater and by phone number listed on entry form immediately following the verified tribal member eligibility for the drawing.

• $2,500 to be given away on Friday, August 30, 2024
• $2,500 to be given away on Saturday, August 31, 2024
• $2,500 to be given away on Sunday, September 1, 2024
• $2,500 to be given away on Sunday, September 1, 2024

General Rules

1. Must be 18 years or older to participate.
2. All person(s) banned from Choctaw Nation properties are not eligible.
3. In the event a drawing has no available qualified participants, the prize will roll over to the next drawing time; if prizes are still unclaimed on Sunday, September 2, 2024, the drawing will continue until all prizes are claimed.
4. The following individuals are prohibited from winning any promotional drawing: all associates involved in administering the giveaway, the Executive Directors of Communications, Senior Executive Officers, Assistant Chief, all elected officials and banned guests of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
5. Participants must claim their prize within one (1) hour of the drawing in person. Winner must be present to win. Winners must present a valid photo identification and complete a W-9 Form.
6. All applicable taxes relating to the winning of any of the prizes is the sole responsibility of the participant. Participants with cumulative winnings over $600 for the year will receive a Form 1099.
7. Social Security number is required, per IRS, for winnings equal or greater than $100 (refer to the IRS website).
8. Winners are responsible for any titles or licenses for any of the prizes. Winners will receive a W2G, when applicable, provided by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
9. By participating in this promotion, you understand, agree, and grant the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma the irrevocable and perpetual right to use any and all photos of yourself relating to the promotion including, but not limited to marketing and promotional purposes.
10. Any participants submitting multiple entries will be disqualified. Only one (1) entry per person per drawing is allowed. The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is not responsible for misidentified or falsified information regarding tribal membership.
11. Winners agree the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, its affiliated and related companies, elected and appointed officials, directors, advertising agencies, and their employees have no liability in connection with acceptance or use of prize awarded herein.
12. The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma reserves the right to void any registration and/or change or modify this promotion without notice to the public.
13. Any dispute or situation not covered by the above rules will be resolved by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma’s Division of Legal and Compliance in a manner deemed to be the fairest to all concerned, and the decision shall be final and binding on all participants.
14. The interpretation of the rules, eligibility, etc. is the sole discretion of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and all decisions are final.
15. Prize(s) and entries into this promotion are non-transferable.
